1. About the Company :
National Film Development Corporation Ltd. (NFDC), is a Public Sector Enterprises set up in 1975 under the Companies Act, 1956. The Company was restructured during 1980 by the merger of erstwhile Indian Motion Picture Export Corporation (IMPEC) and Film Finance Corporation (FFC) and the company emerged as a Central Agency to promote Good Cinema in the country. The objective of the company, therefore, embodies the spirit of service to the film industry and undertakes to foster excellence in cinema and to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure as well as equity products in the audiovisual and related fields. NFDC is a Schedule ‘C’ Mini-Ratna/CPSE in Financial Services Sector with the administrative jurisdiction of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. It has Registered and Corporate offices situated at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The company employed 75 regular employees (Executives: 17, Non-Executives: 58) as on 31.3.2019. The allowed and paid-up capital of the Company is Rs. 45.40 crores and Rs. 45.39 crores respectively as on March 31, 2019. The shareholding the Government of India in the Company is 100% as on 31.03.2019.

QUALIFICATION:
(i) The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant or He/she should Cost Accountant or a full-time MBA/PGDM courseand he/she should have a good academic record from a recognized Institution/University.
(ii) Group ‘A’ Officers of Organized Accounts Services [i.e. Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian P&T Accounts & Finance Service and Indian Cost Accounts Service] working in the appropriate level is exempted from these educational qualifications.
(iii) Further, candidates from the Central Govt./Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services, will also, be exempted from the educational qualifications. In respect of applicants from Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services/Central Government/Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services, Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/MBA/PGDM should have be a desirable sufficient educational qualification.
EXPERIENCE:
(i) The applicant should have at least 5 years of experience at a senior level during the last 10 years in the area of Corporate Financial Management/ Corporate Accounts in an organization/company of repute.
(ii) ‘The relevant experience’ in respect of applicants from Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services/ Central Government would include at least 7 years of experience at a senior level during the last 10 years in the area of Corporate Corporate Accounts/ Financial Management.
2. Job Description and Responsibilities
Director (Finance) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Managing Director. He/she is overall in charge of finance and accounts of the organization and is responsible for evolving and formulating policies relating to finance and accounts as well as implementation.

2. The candidates from Private Sector should submit the following documents along with the application form properly:
(a) Detailed Annual Reports of the Company or organization in which currently working for the 3 financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised (please provide URL or attach/enclose);

(c) Proof of working at Board level or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level;
