Educational Qualification
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent
- 1-4 years of work experience in software testing
Job Description
We are looking for individuals who can play the important role of making sure business requirements are met with defect-free software.
You must have excellent attention to detail, eagerness to contribute to the growth of a fast-paced company, and like getting your hands dirty to track down issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with an Agile development team to plan and execute QA cycles
- A user reported bug triage
- Design test plans using BDD.
- Exploratory testing, usability, and UI design testing
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Manual and automated testing
- Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the technical architecture of new features
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with any of these automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma, etc
- Understanding of how e-retail works is a plus
- Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of the internet and mobile apps
- Should be aware of security standards
- Should know the differentiation between server vs. client components
- Hands-on experience with load and stress testing tools
